After quietly testing our Online Partner Program through most of last
year, we are officially
opening up the doors and offering everybody interested the opportunity
to participate in our affiliate program.
Please read through the information provided below for details. If you

HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS
You can signup as an Online Partner here.
As an Online Partner you can provide links on your website(s) that link
people to BassBooks.com. Links can be to any part of of our website, allowing
you to highlight as many different products and areas of interest as desired.
EXAMPLE: If you have a page on
your website that features Victor Wooten, you can create links to either
specific Victor Wooten titles or to 1 link that includes all of Victor's
titles. The same goes for any category or title available on BassBooks.com.
All sales generated from the links on your website are tracked, giving
you credit for the orders.
We provide you with access to login and monitor the activity of your account.
PAYMENTS
You recieve 10% of the purchase price (excluding tax, s&h, etc.) for
all sales generated through your account.
We pay between the 1st and 5th of each month, once you've earned over
$25.00.
EXAMPLE: If, in one month you
earn $16.00, the $16.00 does not get paid that month - it carries into
the next calendar month. If you earn $13 the next month, you will now
have $29.00 in your account and we will pay you $29.00 the beginning of
the 3rd month.
Payments are paid via PayPal or we will provide you with a store credit,
letting you get titles you want for yourself!

If you bring up a specific title, you will see a unique ID, that's
what gets changed. |

Your Online Partner ID # was included in your regsitration confirmation
email. If you don't know what it is, contact

LINKING TO THE
WEBSITE
After completing the Online Partner registration, the confirmation page
will show a link like this: http://www.BassBooks.com/shopping/shopaff.asp?affid=13
In this example, the Online Partner ID# is 13.
Use this link when linking to us - this takes the visitor to the home
page of BassBooks.com and tracks that they came through with you as the
referring Online Partner.
LINKING TO A SPECIFIC
PRODUCT
The following example shows how to setup proper links on
your website to a specific product.
The example below uses the book Bass
Encyclomedia, written by Mike Overly.
This example presumes your Online Partner ID# is 10
(change this, replacing 10 with
your Online Partner ID #).
The link to be used on your site will look like this:
http://www.BassBooks.com/shopping/shopaff.asp?affid=10&directurl=http://www.BassBooks.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=514
The 1st part of this link (http://www.BassBooks.com/shopping/shopaff.asp?affid=10)
identifies Online Partner #10
as the referring Partner.
The 2nd part of this link (&directurl=http://www.BassBooks.com/shopping/shopexd.asp?id=514)
directs the visitor to the specific product.
Putting the 2 together created the complete result of providing the Partner
as the referring partner, and sending the visitor to the desired product
title.
