SHIPPING SCHEDULES
All Express Mail orders ship out either same or next business day Monday through Saturday. All orders using a shipping method other than Express Mail are shipped out same or next business day Monday through Friday.

If we can, we do try to ship out Priority Mail orders Monday through Saturday, but it is not guaranteed. As always, if you have any questions please contact us and let us know.

USPS REAL TIME LOOKUP SHIPPING RATES
Effective 03/01/2009, we are now using real time shipping rates with the United States Postal Service. Prior, we had been doing our best, tweaking the formulas, and trying to best approximate the shipping costs. But now, USPS gets your orders exact shipping location and weight. With that, you are quoted the actual cost for shipping. All the guesswork has been taken out.

If you prefer, we still offer the service of shipping via UPS or FedEx. If this is your preference, just let us know in the comment field when placing and order (or contact us in advance) and we can provide you with a quote.

We've decided to stick with USPS as the primary shipping provider, simply because their rates are much more competitive (especially worldwide), when compared to the other providers. Plus they will can ship to a PO Box and deliver on a Saturday at no additional charge.

As with everything we try to do over here, this is intended to improve your experience with us. We always appreciate your support, so if you have any questions please contact us and let us know.

INFORMATION ON MISSING OR LOST PACKAGES
Due to circumstances beyond our control, a package may come up missing or lost. Once we are notified, we will make every effort to locate the package through the USPS system. This section will outline what the procedure for USPS is when a package is lost or missing.

On domestic orders and orders that are shipped Express Mail International, we can start a trace using the tracking number. When we contact USPS to start a trace, they will check with the post office in the area of delivery and report back to us what they find out.

If your order was shipped Priority Mail International or First Class International, no tracking number is provided. When we contact USPS to report the package missing or lost, USPS will start a research on the package. They will use the customs form # to begin the research. Unfortunately, since the research is done from one country to another, the process can be as much as 60 days before we hear anything. USPS will send us a letter in writing with any updates.

If you find that your package is missing or lost, we encourage you to check first with the local post office in your area. Sometimes your package can be held up at your local post office for one reason or another. In the event that your package is lost or missing, we will make every effort to start a research or trace using the USPS system outlined above.

SHIPPING IN REFERENCE TO PAYMENT
It is our goal to have 100% of our catalog in stock at all times. When we don't have a title in stock, we post it on our home page and include its expected arrival date from the publisher.

With all titles in stock, we ship within 24 hours of receiving payment. The only exclusions to this guarantee is if a title is currently not in stock or any delay due to holildays or weekends. In these events, we will contact you within 24 hours and inform you of status.

UNDELIVERABLE SHIPMENTS
Occasionally orders are returned to us as undeliverable. Reasons for this can vary. As a standard policy, Shipping & Handling charges are non-refundable (complete details are available here).

However, on shipments returned as undeliverable, we offer some flexibility, depending on the reason the order was returned. If the order was returned as the fault of us and/or USPS, we will reship at no additional cost. However, if the order is returned as a fault of the customer, we have no alternative but to pass the additional shipping charges incurred to the customer.

On domestic orders, our standard shipping methods are USPS (United States Postal Service) Express Mail, Priority Mail and Media Mail.

EXPRESS MAIL

Express Mail is the fastest delivery service USPS offers.
This service includes the following:

 Next day delivery by noon or by 3:00 pm to many destinations, 2nd Day delivery to all other locations.
 Delivery to most addresses in the United States - including PO Boxes and military addresses.
 Includes tracking #
 Signature proof of delivery is available upon request
 All orders automatically insured up to $100.00

PRIORITY MAIL
Priority Mail is the next best delivery service USPS offers.
This service includes the following:

 2-4 Business day delivery (not guaranteed)
 Delivery to most addresses in the United States - including PO Boxes and military addresses.
 Includes tracking #
 Signature proof of delivery is available upon request for all orders over $200.00

MEDIA MAIL
Media Mail is the most econimical delivery service USPS offers.
This service includes the following:

 1-2 week delivery (not guaranteed).
 NOTE:
Media Mail WILL have a longer delivery time during the holidays.
 Delivery to most addresses in the United States - including PO Boxes and military addresses.
 Includes tracking #
 Signature proof of delivery is available upon request for all orders over $200.00

If you prefer a shipping and handling method other than the options listed here, please indicate your preference in the comments section when you fill out an order or contact us first. Alternative shipping options are UPS, DHL & FedEx.

Appropriate fee modifications will be addressed and processed at that time. Keep in mind, this may also delay the delivery of your order. We will follow up on your order letting you know the details and adjustments necessary to accomodate your request.

INTERNATIONAL (OUTSIDE THE US) SHIPPING OPTIONS
We ship world wide to all countries capable of receiving United States Postal Service Deliveries. For a list of countries we have shipped to, click here.

Our standard shipping methods are Express Mail International and Priority Mail International, only because the cost is much lower compared to other delivery services. However, First Class International Mail is available for orders weighing 4 lbs or less. Delivery and rates vary depending upon the country/region we are shipping to.

EXPRESS MAIL INTERNAIONAL
Express Mail is the fastest delivery service USPS offers.
This service includes the following:

 3-5 day delivery to most countries.
 This is REQUIRED for orders going to Russia
 Includes tracking #
 Signature proof of delivery is available upon request
 All orders automatically insured up to $100.00

PRIORITY MAIL INTERNATIONAL
Priority Mail is the next best delivery service USPS offers.
This service includes the following:

 6-10 Business day delivery (not guaranteed) to most countries.
 Signature proof of delivery is available upon request for all orders over $200.00

FIRST CLASS INTERNATIONAL MAIL
First Class International Mail is the most econimical delivery service USPS offers for orders weighing less than 4lbs (which is usually a 2 title maximum).
This service includes the following:

 1-2 week delivery (not guaranteed).
 NOTE: First Class International Mail WILL have a longer delivery time during the holidays.
 Signature proof of delivery is available upon request for all orders over $200.00

A tracking number is provided only with Express Mail International.
No tracking number is provided when shipping via Priorty International Mail.
Additional information for each region is detailed below.

Additional shipping services we work with are UPS, FedEx and DHL. Shipping costs will vary between each service and from country to country. If you prefer a service other than Express Mail International or Priority Mail International, either mention it in the comments section when placing an order online or click here to contact us before placing an order. We will provide a quote of the additional fees and confirm that the additional amount is acceptable before processing any charges to your account.

CUSTOMS/IMPORT DUTIES INFORMATION
Orders shipped to countries and/or territories outside of the United States may be subject to import duties and taxes. These duties are applied when the shipment reaches its destination. These duties are the responsibility of the recipient of the shipment and will vary from country to country. If you have any questions or concerns, we recommend you speak with your local customs office or postal service for details.

POSSIBLE CAUSES FOR DELAY IN INTERNATIONAL SHIPPINGS
These are the two main factors causing "delays":
1. Some packages are being pulled for a random customs examination at destination

2. Some packages do not go on a direct flight to the country of destination and might get delayed either already in the US or at the first airport of entry on the other side of the Ocean.
For example: if you have a package for Malaysia, it can end up on a plane to Singapore… from where it will have to be re-handled.

3. Sometimes USPS erroneously sort airmail packages in with economy/surface mail and once packages are in the economy/surface stack… they will depart as surface mail.

If you prefer a shipping and handling method other than the default (US Postal Service) Air Mail, please indicate your preference in the comments section when you fill out an order. Appropriate fee modifications will be addressed and processed at that time. Keep in mind, this may also delay the delivery of your order.
