Comprehensive study on the artistry of being a bassist.
To become a master requires a total devotion to learning that craft. A master is someone who has strong, consistent skills and executes them perfectly with only the effort required to do so. This mastery requires experience and practice. When the question is asked, 'how much should I practice?' the correct answer is, 'until you have mastered what you're working on.' This book is designed to give the student a thorough, gradual study of obtainable musical goals including a strong rhythmic foundation upon which bass playing must be built.
