THE CORE METHOD

This method, written by Michael Dimin, assumes that you've played bass for, at least, a few months and that you have a basic understanding of the major scale and can fairly easy figure out the location of any single note on the fretboard. Although there is a great deal to be learned from this book on its own, it is recommended to work through the book with a good teacher. Be advised that many bass instructors are not familiar with this method.
