Eric shows you advanced phrasing using the chords changes and the melody from 'Four' by Miles Davis and 'Scrapple from the Apple' by Charlie Parker. The DVD starts with learning the head (melody) of the tunes, then covers scales and goes right into complex 2/4/8/16 bar phrasing. In addition, Eric shows you note choices/scale tones/substitution chords and relative minor and major scales for soloing. Soloing 2 comes with a chord chart/melody in manuscript and tablature.

ABOUT THE ARTIST/AUTHOR:
Eric Petrei studied at the University of Miami School of Music. In addition, he has studied with great bass legends Jaco Pastorius, Bill Dickens (Ramsey Lewis), Wally Voss (Ywingie Malmsteen).
